Eeveelutions For Sale: Reunion

A TFTG story written as a gift for All Bad Badgers

CW:  Unwilling Permanent Change - Implied Questionable Consent - Implied Pokemon Cruelty (Backstory) - Non Anthro Pokemon

The woman skipped thru the streets of the town, wissiling a merry tune to herself as she went. The crisp spring air invigorated her and gave her steps a spring which had been absent all winter long. Her merry gate was match by the blue striped umbreon who gambled about her legs, happily yipping along with her nameless song. It had been a long and productive winter for the pair as well as the cottage they shared with a handful of Eeveelution breeding couples, though whether that constituted a good thing varied wildly between the occupants.
As the pair made thru the streets, various locals stopped to wave and shout friendly greetings, their cheerful faces and open hearts filling the woman with an inner peace she had long craved. Though she had dedicated her life to the punishment of the wicked and took a cynical pleasure in witnessing their retribution, it was always good to recall that that was not the only side to humanity. All across the lands kind and caring boys and girls treated their pokémon partners with the love and respect they deserve and in return found their goodness returned in both loyalty and mutual affection.
This capacity for good was what made it impossible for her, regardless of how dark and troubling things got to ever truly turn away from humanity. Yet by the same token the failure of some humans to grasp this fundamental decency and to instead turn a blind eye to the suffering of their partners or worse yet, inflict it deliberately... That had been what drove her to first take up her one pokémon crusade.
It had been years ago, back before she had taken on the guise of a human woman and had instead spent her days in her normal Zoroak form when she had first been confronted by the darker side of humanity. Back then she had still been a caretaker of a sort, though in a way different to how she would eventually come to be widely known and respected in the human world. In those days she had lived near a daycare and had taken in the baby pokémon trainers would occasionally, inexplicably, abandon after spending all the time to breed and hatch them. At the time it had seemed like an inexplicable waste, but she had taken it upon herself to care for the little ones, insuring they grew up big and strong enough to strike out on their own.
For years she had been happy as a surrogate mother and teacher, but she had never felt overly close to the little ones she took in under her wing. They were hers only till they no longer needed her and though she did not resent their leaving, it never failed to leave her feeling just a little empty. They would go out on their own to find mates or partners, to build lives for themselves and in doing so live lives rich and full of joy and she tried to always think of that and let that be her reward… Until one fateful day a tiny Eevee babe had come under her care and changed the course of her life forever.
She named him Tuft and he had in turn named her Mother and from the first day they met they had been inseparable. She raised him as she had raised the others, but as he grew, rather than distancing himself from her, he had only gotten closer. The love they shared was pure and sweet, a parental bond that transcended species to reach a point where it might well have rivaled the closest bond of trainers and partner. They planed one day to leave the town and make a home for themselves far away, to spend the rest of their days together in peace and bliss… Yet fate had other plans for them.
Of the battle, she now had only the faintest of memories of fire and pain. She had barely had time to react before she had been stuck down and it had been thru a fog of semi consciousness that she had heard the trainers irritated words.
“You idiot! I wanted that one! Now she’s too weak to even bother catching!”
In her last moments of consciousness she had seen Tuft running to help her and had she had the strength she would have yelled for him to run, to save himself! It would not have worked she knew, he would never have left her like that, but the thought of what might have been gwaed at her from that day onward.
When she finally came too, it was night and Tuft was gone. She looked for him, taken on human form for the first time to inquire about the trainer, but found precious little hope to cling too. The humans had seen the trainer, had noted his newly captured Eevee and had even told her were he was headed, but as she learned, it was not a place she could follow.
Her Tuft had been taken by a young, highly skilled trainer who had left to face new challenges around the world, pursuing a dream of fame and glory that would take him to find and challenge the greatest trainers of every region.
It had been to much for her to take and she fled into the woods and searched desperately for a way of freeing her beloved son, but by the time she had discovered the herbs which could possibly assist in her retribution, the trainer had gone so far afield that the people of the town could not even hazard a guess as to where he might go next.
Disappointed, but driven by a newfound inner fire, she had turned her righteous wrath onto others who hurt or misused their partners, saving their pokémon and allowing them the vengeance she had been denied. The trainer who cruelly abandoned his partner's children on mass for not being strong enough, the thief who had stolen pokémon from the loving arms of their true partners… The monster who had done worse still, each had in turn felt first her wrath, then the just punishment of their victims. Yet for her own pain, there was only the cold comfort of knowing others might not face the same injustice thru her actions.
She set aside those thoughts of the past as she approached the orphanage and hoisted her basket of Eevee eggs higher on one arm. “This is the one?” She asked, looking down at her Umbreon friend who nodded and gave an affirmative yip. She smiled back and knelt to give the pokémon a pat on the head. “I am sure they will appreciate the gift.”
From the door an older woman appeared and beckoned to the pair, a broad smile spreading across her wrinkled face as they approach. “So lovely to see you both!” She spread her arms and embraced the woman in a tight hug before bending over to lift the excited Umbreon into her arms. “I told the children you would be coming today and the looks on their faces.” She laughed. “Why I dare say their more thrilled to see you then our special guest!”
“Special guest?” The woman asked, stepping thru the door and looking around the deserted and silent halls. “I am so sorry, if I knew someone else was coming today I won't have stolen their thunder.” She pulled back the blanket covering the eggs and continued, “Umbreon and I were just so excited to give his eggs too the children, we didn’t think to make sure today was the best one for you.”
“Your very thoughtful, dear.” The older woman chuckled. “But you really have nothing to worry about. Our guest is a trainer himself and I am sure after hearing all about how to train and raise a pokémon partner, they will be all the more eager and better prepared to take on that responsibility for themselves.”
“I am happy to hear that.” The woman smiled back, despite a few bad experiences, the vast majority of trainers she had meet had been kind and caring sorts. She had little doubt that he would be a good influence and set the right example. However it seemed that Umbreon did not share her faith, for as the two women talked his ears lowered and his eyes narrowed.
From his mind the woman heard, ‘I don’t trust this human… What if he is like the one who took me?’ She smiled and reached over to scratch the tense pokémon behind his ears.
‘And what if he is like your true master?’ She asked telepathically. ‘If he was still here with us, don’t you think he would want his daughter to know how best to care for her own partner? You must have faith in humans, a whole room of them will be raising your pups soon.’
Umbreon just snorted, though he did not object further as the small group entered into an auditorium where a group of children sat and watched with wrapped attention to a man on a stage. He was talking about his many exploits and of how important his team had been to his many successes, fairly standard stuff for an experienced trainer giving a lecture on the basics to a number of young children. It was nothing the woman had not heard before and aside from the man’s grandstanding, it was not a bad rendition of a familiar speech.
Yet something bothered her about the man. It wasn’t his proud and boastful personality, that was common enough amongst those who felt they had accomplished great things and judging by the numerous badges adorning his clothing, he seemed to have come by the arrogance honestly if nothing else. Nor was it anything about his face or voice exactly, though something about both seemed oddly familiar. It was just something… Some indescribable quality about the man that set her ill at ease and made her heart rate spike.
“Now then,” The man concludes his speech with a big, flashy smile. “Who wants to meet the very BEST pokémon team around, eh?” The children roared their approval and the man threw his arms wide in appreciation. “Well how can I say no to a request like that?”
The woman felt herself tense as one by one the man revealed his pokémon, each one more exsotic then the last. In his travels he had apparently snagged many rare and fabuless allies from every region he had visited and as each one appeared, the woman felt a wave of fear, pain and resentment wash over her mind. The jumbled thoughts of the pokémon bombarded her with negative emotions so strongly that she felt weak and had to clutch onto one of the seats to keep herself from possibly collapsing in a swoon. The old woman did not notice, but Umbreon did and his concern gave her moment of respite from the wave.
Then the last pokéball opened and at the sight of the Sylveon her knees gave out and she felt herself slump to the floor. Though it had been years since she had last felt his mind, though evolution had changed just about everything about the way he looked, though his mind was clouded with the same feelings of pain and despair that the others on stage felt, she still knew without a shadow of a doubt who he was.
“Tuft…”
She felt her human disguise falter and if not for a massive effort of will she might have been revealed their and then, but some deep, ingrained sense of survival kept her focused and before anyone could see her weakness, she quickly rose back to her feet.
“I normally won’t bother with a common Eeveelution,” The man said with a chuckle. “But with the right training, they can really surprise you. This one here, I call him Spike, I raised him from a little runt and now everytime I win against some of the best and brightest out their, I make sure to let them know that my team wins not because there the strongest or the smartest, but because in the hands of the right trainer, even the most pathetic pokémon can be a true champion!”
Umbreon growled angrily in the old woman’s arms, but the children drowned out his fury with their thunderous applause. ‘I’d love to see him talk about Eevee’s like that after I shove one of his pokéball’s down his throat!’ Umbreon’s angry thoughts filled the woman’s mind, mixing with her own mounting loathing and swirling into a black fire. ‘Why don’t you invite him back to the cabin for tea? See how that treats him?’
‘Why not indeed…’ The Woman’s eyes flashed as she began to walk down the aisle. ‘But first, the children. We won’t take this away from them just because they have been taken in by a brute.’
-
The next hour sped by in a blur of beaming faces and mindless pleasantries. Under any normal circumstance she would have relished the chance to engage with the young and eager children as they first laid hands on the eggs that would contain their future partners, but today it was all just a distraction from her true focus. More than once she had feared the man would leave and vanish without a trace like he had so many years ago, but each time one of the kids or the old woman stopped him with a query and he seemed as eager to talk of his victories one on one as he was relaying them to a crowd.
Eventually, once all the eggs had been passed out and her responsibilities had been taken care of she hurried to intercept the man as he headed towards the door.
“Excuse me!” She called and he turned to greet her with a winning smile. “I could not help, but here about your exploits and-”
He stopped her with a raised hand and to her consternation quickly looked her over with a gaze that held no modesty for her illusionary body. “Your a fan, I get it.” He shrugs nonchalantly. “Look, I’m flattered, really, but I get a lot of these sorts of requests and I sort of try and be… Selective.”
The woman felt her face flush even under the disguise and had to hold the venom out of her voice as she replied, “I’m a breeder! An Eevee breeder, one of the top in the region.” She took a calming breath then continued. “I’m always looking for… Good stock and would be willing to pay generously for time with your Sylveon.” She took another breath and then in as sultry a voice as she could muster added, “I am sure we can come to some sort of mutually beneficial arrangement?”
The man’s eyes widened as a spark of recognition flared in them. For a second the woman feared that she had somehow been found out, but then the man slid in closer to her as his smile grows. “I am so sorry, I didn’t recognize you at first, but I know who you are…” He runs an hand down one of her arms. “Your not just some mindless groopie are you? And your not just one of the best breeders in the region… I have read all about you and it’s so funny, I was thinking I would have to go out of my way to find you, but then fate just seemed to sort that all out for me.” He winked. “Funny how this all just sort of worked out, isn’t it?”
“Yes.” The woman smiled back, her forced grin replaced by one much more natural. “I suspect fate had everything to do with it…”
-
Sometime later the woman lead the man back to her cabin, Umbreon bouncing excitedly around them and though the trainer could not tell, speculating the whole way about his fate.
‘There is no way he is pure enough to evade the teas effects!’ Umbreon laughed internally. ‘I can’t wait to see the look on his face! I didn’t get to see Glaceon turn, but Jolteon and Vaporeon both told me it was really something!’
The woman smiled indulgently down at the smaller pokémon. “You must forgive my friend,” She explained to her guest. “He is just excited to be getting home to his mate and all his little friends.”
“Lack of discipline, plain and simple.” The man shook his head. “Your letting them think their in charge, makes them think they can get away with anything. Brake them of that delusion, remind them who the master is and you won’t hear a peep from them, trust me.” He reached out and grabbed at the womans ass, her tail shifting quickly under the disguise to avoid giving away the game. She gasped and he smiled, taking her reaction as playful encouragement. “I think I can show you a couple tricks that will show them who’s boss.”
The woman bit back a biting retort, masking her irritation with an ingratiating smile. “Don’t make promises unless your ready to keep them…” She slipped inside quickly and hurried to the kitchen before he could make a move to guide her toward the bed. “Let me put on a kettle. We can drink while we talk shop.”
The man followed, taking a quick look around the small cabin with a curious eye. For such a renowned breeder, the woman had fairly few pokemon. Curled up near the fireplace a Flareon slept watched over by a Vaporeon who watched him with intense curiosity. Near to the kitchen a Leafeon rested near a pile of eggs, her eyes also on him, though occasionally flitting to a Jolteon who seemed to be in the middle of cleaning her with his little pink tongue. Finally the shiny Umbreon who had accompanied the woman on her erans was hopping around a heavily pregnant Glaceon, yapping something in its inscrutable pokémon way much to his mates apparent annoyance. More than once the pregnant female takes a snap at her mate, followed by a few growling barks, but neither seem to put off the Umbreon who just continues to yammer. All in all, a more disorganized and undisciplined operation he had hardly ever seen and it made him wonder if he had not made a mistake and mistook some local flower child for a regionally legendary figure.
At the very least, she was not unattractive and if nothing else, he was determined to enjoy himself while he was here. He turned back to the woman and was pleasantly surprised to see she had already poured out the tea and was offering him a cup. He took it and found himself a seat by the fireplace, sipping as he considered the strange woman.
“So,” He started at last. “Rumor has it your pretty selective about your breeders.” He nodded over to the trio of couples. “I guess that’s how you assure quality, but why not use some of the money you make to upgrade?”
The woman smiled as she took a sip from her own cup. “Oh well… I consider this more a passion then a job. I have very high standards and if their not met…” She shrugged. “I would rather lose out then acquire the wrong specimen.” She gestured at the man’s pokéballs. “May I see the Sylveon?”
The man nodded and withdrew the ball from his belt, opening it with a deft motion and allowing his longest held pokémon out of its confinement. The elegant pink and white Eeveelution sprang forth and stood stiffly at attention, awaiting instructions. “As you can see,” The man explained, “He’s perfectly trained, highly obedient and perfectly loyal.”
The woman’s face paled at the sight of the pokémon and for a moment she could do nothing, but stare at him. He had grown so much since she had last saw him and been put thru so much more. His body had changed, his spirit had been pushed to its absolute limit and as she reached out toward his mind, it felt so cold and distant, closed off after years of abuse.
‘Tuft?’ She reached out with her mind as her body slowly, jerkily knelt down to do the sort of cursory inspection she would be expected to do as a professional breeder. Her hand pressed down on his head and she allowed the illusion to slip just enough so that he could feel her claws on his fur. ‘Tuft, its Mother… Are you… Are you still their, son?’
The Sylveon stiffened at the touch of the familiar mind and his impossibly blue eyes shot up to meet hers, seeing instantly thru the disguise. “Mother?” His voice was hoarse, weak from disuse and shaky, but it was a voice she knew. “Is it… Really you?”
“What in the hell!?” The man shot up, eyes bulging, purple veins shooting thru them as he stared. “It just talked!”
“Of course he talked.” The woman snarled, slowly standing as her disguise started to fade for good. “He has always been able to talk, you just never knew how to listen.” She glared at the trainer as he began to rapidly shrink, his hair turning a light shade of purple. “Not that you would have ever let him, even if you knew!”
“Y-Your not human!” The man pointed a shaking finger at the woman, not yet noticing as it shortened and formed into part of a new paw. “Your… Your a pokémon!” He began scrambling for one of his other pokéballs, but found it increasingly difficult as his body rapidly shrank and became more and more furry.
“I am.” The woman cast away the last of her human form stood tall and proud as the Zoroak she was. “And now, so are you!”
The trainer squeaked in alarm as a long tail burst from his back, splitting at the end. In the center of his forehead a perfectly round red stone formed, a marker of his potential psionic abilities. As the changes seemingly reached their end, he looked up at her and in a shaking voice asked. “A-Are you turning me into one of your breeding studs?” He started as from all around the capin the female Eeveelutions began to snort and let out short bursts of humorless laughter.
“Cute.” The Flareon rolls her eyes. “She’s already thinking about getting laid.”
“What a degenerate!” The pregnant Glaceon snears. “I bet she was going to get off on the idea of fucking one of us.”
“Not like you won’t love it.” The Leafeon sticks out her tongue as the Jolteon licks at her neck. “Your the loudest girl here when Umbreon gets at you!”
“Come over here and say that you-” The Glaceon starts, but is cut off by Zoroak as she stamps her foot on the ground.
“Enough!” She glared around the room and then looks down at Sylveon who looks overwhelmed with a mix of emotions. “I want a minute with my son. Please.” She knelt down placed her claws around his neck. “I am so sorry… I tried to find you sooner, but…” She trailed off as words failed her.
“Mother?” Sylveon asked again, eyes starting to water before throwing his paws around the Zoroark's neck. “MOTHER!” The pair began to sob openly as they held onto one another as tightly as they could, years of pent up emotion finally finding their release in a title wave of grief, love and joy.
In the distraction the trainer looked around and began to try to slip away. He was not sure what the other pokémon had been talking about and he didn’t much like the way they kept talking about him as if he was some chick. He figured that getting while the getting was good was the best option and so hopped from the chair and began to scurry to the door on all fours, only to slow to a stop as something in his lower abdomen began to cramp. He staggered to a stop and began to pant as something altogether new began happening to his body, a pressure in his loins and a heat he could not identify. He tried to shake it off, but before he could, he heard the sounds of running feet and within the blink of an eye he found himself surrounded on all sides by the three males who had until then been tending to the trio of female breeders.
“And where do you think your going little missy?” The Jolteon asked, his voice causal, but body tensed as if ready to battle. “Not running away, are you?”
“Hey… What?” The new Espeon asked with a nervous chuckle. “Me, run? No, no, no… I was just… going to get some fresh air!”
The Vaporeon, relaxed and confident eyed him up and down before asking, “Your not by any chance… Trying to play us for fools are you? Little lady?”
Espeon began to growl, the fur on the back of his neck rising. “Hey will you cut it with that ‘lady’ crap? I’m a man! I’m a guy like you three!”
Espeon suddenly jumped as Umbreon licked at something that they had certainly not had just a little while ago. “Are you sure about that?” He asked with a chuckle. “Because from back here, you don’t just look like a lady… You look like a lady in serious heat!”
Espeon’s mouth dropped and she curled her tail around herself tightly as the three big males began to circle around her slowly. “H-Hey fellas…” She swallowed. “You… Your not going to… I mean you won’t…”
“Wouldn't dream of it.” Vaporeon assured her, smiling coyly.
“Oh thank god…” Espeon sighed.
“Your Sylveon’s. He’s the one you mistreated!” Jolteon snarls, eyes still flashing as if waiting for a fight. “An eye for an eye, that’s the rule.”
“You can’t be serious!” Espeon gasped. “He’s my pokémon! He has to do what I say, you can’t just turn that around!”
“Don’t worry…” Umbreon laughed. “Once he breaks you of that delusion and shows you who the master is, I am sure you’ll shut right up!”
“And as a special ‘treat’...” Zoroak growled as she broke thru the trio and picked up Espeon by the scruff of her neck. “I’ve got one last gift for you… For all the years apart.” She tapped the center of Espeon’s gem stone and instantly she felt a new surge of feeling from all around her. “Their,” Zoroark placed her back down in front of the still shaking Sylveon. “Now you can feel what all of the girls are feeling, so you never have to feel left out.”
Espeon trembled as she looked up at her former Sylveon, feeling suddenly very small and very vulnerable. “I…” She swallowed and summoned as much of her old confidence up as she could. “I order you to stop this at once! Attack that crazy Zoroak!” She pointed a paw at the ringleader of the madhouse she had somehow stumbled into. Sylveon glanced from her to the other pokémon and for a second she thought that her gabit might have worked. Then two ribbons shot down and yanked her front paws out from under her, forcing her to drop to the ground with her rear sticking up in the air.
“How about I give the orders from now on?” Tuft asked and sniffed the air. Espeon suddenly felt the fire between her legs explode into an inferno as something began to shift and grow from the pokémon she had known as Spike. As much as the thought of what was about to happen repulsed her human mind, her body overruled all rational thought with a single desperate need.
“Okay…” She gasped and as her former Sylveon moved around her prone form a single thought repeated in her head over and over, one which horrified and delighted her in equal measure.
‘I am so screwed!’
